Eligibility

You are eligible if you are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States with a current passport, and are temporarily residing outside the USA and registered in a US academic institute or on a recognized study abroad program.

Your spouse and any dependent children under the age of 19 are also eligible for coverage if accompanying you.

For purposes of this insurance, if your home country (passport country) is different from your country of permanent residence (location in which you permanently reside), you will not be covered in either location.
